March, 14-17th, 2016

Taroudant is a lovely city located in the Sous Valley in the southern part of Morocco, close to Agadir, and the Sahara desert.

Almost the entire city of Taroudant is located inside ramparts and has the feel of a small fortified market town on a caravan route. The city is known for its local crafts, including jewellery and carpets.

For the first edition of the MAISON COLLECTIVE workshop, we chose to welcome you in the beautiful Dar Al Houssoun. An amazing riad, where villas are built around courtyards of botanical gardens, with breathtaking views of the Atlas mountains.

___

I will show you how I use my current work in fashion, design & lifestyle photography to enhance my wedding storytelling. How my perception puts together the great story for the couple, but also for others including your future clients.

I will also answer any questions about my gear, my attitude and approach on the wedding day, composition and lighting, my workflow and about curating my work. I will be there to share everything you would like to talk to me about.

I believe we cannot teach without experience and convictions. That’s what I want to share with you to fullfill your client’s high expectations.

I will give you efficient tools to define and develop your personal photographic style. These tools are Words. Learning how to use them to find your meaning through imagery will help you find a consistent path.

They will also be there

they’re wedding planner, architect, make up artist and event designer and they will be with us to make the MAISON COLLECTIVE’s experience even more beautiful

CLÉMENTINE MARCHAL

As long as I can remember , I have always loved beautiful stories and happy endings . Fascinated by others, beautiful scenery and meaningful details, I live each day for the past 8 years a very unique experience with «Le Blog de Madame C» . With this blog, fabulous meetings are born, and a professional project that is close to my heart.

In 2010, «Made in You» marks the beginning of an exciting adventure of planning weddings and participate fully to the days full of happiness. After 5 years of existence, «Made in You» also organises the festivals LOVE/ETC and KIDS/ETC, and also professional workshops where beauty and sharing have become our signature.

NAOKO NISHIZU-AUDIC

I am a Japanese architect raised in Australia and now living in France. I spend my life designing spaces, furniture and objects for people, and am interested in the intimate connection one has to their surroundings.

I am interested in how architectural, design and lifestyle photography can illustrate a sense of personal place where people’s stories unfold. I am involved in the artistic direction of Lifestories Wedding Photography and provide an additional perspective on the way we capture moments in telling the story.

PATRICIA DEHOVE-LHERBIER

I used to work in the beauty and wellness industry since 1999. Because of an holistic vision of it, I have always been interested both by skin treatments, massages, aesthetics, and makeup.

In the very beginning of 2014 I decided to focus on hair and makeup only.

I aim to offer a dedicated service for an ethereal and effortless beauty that suits you perfectly.

Besides, whatever style my brides may choose, my goal is to sublime them, not to transform them. Every woman should always feel like herself, just in a better and more confident version of her.

NESSA BUONOMO

In 2009, I started one of the most decisive adventures in my life: my own wedding blog La Mariée Aux Pieds Nus. I was (and still am) moved by the desire to share wonderful stories and useful tips to help brides and grooms in the sometimes overwhelming process of planning their wedding. Along this exciting road, I’ve also had the chance to design and write several books, with an array of subjects ranging from floral arrangements to blogging tips. Passionate about styling, food, nature, photography and home design, I always have at heart to highlight the simplicity, authenticity and casualness of everyday life. I am also the artistic director of Made in You, a stylism agency since 2011, which is at the origin of the two festivals LOVE/ETC and KIDS/ETC.
